TSI is a Hong Kong based organisation that specialises in the sourcing, supply chain management and logistics of parts & equipment from LCE’s (Low Cost Economies) for the
international transportation industry.
Specifically, we
- Supply manufactured parts & equipment from China and other LCE’s; and
- Provide QA/QC, inspection, supplier, order & logistics management services to clients with existing suppliers in China and other LCE’s
TSI was established originally in 2001 to locate and identify suppliers of railway and rolling stock equipment in countries where manufacturing costs are cheaper than established countries. Although
China was the main focus, TSI was also involved in similar activities with several other LCE’s in the Far East.
Since it’s creation, the company has assisted dozens of railway related companies and operators set up processes in procurement from China and other low cost countries. This has achieved success
in significantly lowering costs on material and equipment purchases and the resulting benefit to the company's budget and performance highly visible.
As the company has developed and expanded, the services we provide have grown too. Not only do we now provide excellent LCE sourcing and management services, TSI also undertakes turn-key procurement
contracts and supplies consulting services to the global transport industry.
